Chaim Topol, the star of Fiddler on the Roof, has passed away after a struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Between the late 1960s and 2009, the actor appeared in over 3,500 performances of the popular musical on stage and TV as Teyve the milkman.

Moreover, he appeared in the science fiction film Flash Gordon and the James Bond classic For Your Eyes Only.

He died at age 87.
