Jonathan passed away on Tuesday morning at Prisma Health Richland. He sustained severe injuries after the boating accident on Lake Murray on 25 January 2024.
As per the reliable source, the crash happened during a practice round of the Lake Murray College series, a Bassmaster fishing tournament. Jonathan was competing with Western Kentucky University’s bass fishing team.
Brian and his friends were on the lake, boating, when they collided with another boat in the Prosperity areas of Newberry County around 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Along with Jonathan Brian, two other people were also injured in the crash. They were rushed to the hospital, but sadly, Jonathan passed away on Tuesday in mourning.
The other two people who were injured in the crash have been released from the hospitals. It was a tragic incident which took the life of a University student in Lake Murray.
