From frills to flowers, wedding day prep isn’t exactly a cakewalk (even though we all love wedding cake, let’s be honest).

With an abundance of opinions on what’s hot (and what’s not), catering to the masses can surely take some time — and some expert insight.

Thankfully, sought-after style destination Anthropologie teamed up with Pinterest (specifically, with insights from the company’s Pinterest Predicts trends report) to highlight the most-desired, modern-day trends that you’ll surely want to bookmark if you’re a soon-to-be bride.

“The pop-up will showcase three major trends that Pinterest predicts to dominate the wedding industry —
Groovy Nuptials, Bow Stacking and Western Gothic — complete with interactive sessions and one-on-one
consultations hosted by industry experts,” the Anthropologie team exclusively shared with the New York Post, in describing its recent NYC pop-up that will be hosted from Feb. 1 to 4 to the general public. “Each unique trend will allow attendees to dive into a vibrant world of retro-inspired weddings, explore the art of bow stacking in imaginative and unexpected ways, and merge the rugged charm of vintage Americana chic with deep, moody hues to create a captivating bridal look and visual experience.”

Ahead, Holly Thrasher, chief merchandising officer at Anthropologie Weddings — with more than 25 years of experience — outlines the trends below:

“As a brand that sits at the forefront of the wedding industry, we are reinforcing our commitment to inspire our customers in unexpected ways and meet them exactly where they are,” Thraser told The Post. “The Anthropologie Weddings x Pinterest Trend Pop-Up is a great example of how we’re executing a consumer-first approach. We’re breaking through with an innovative experience that will provide brides-to-be with early access to emerging bridal trends, décor and lifestyle that can be seamlessly implemented and personalized by brides.”

And, because we all know how challenging it can sometimes be to make those once-in-a-lifetime decisions, Anthropologie industry experts are available onsite to provide one-on-one consultations and help guide our bridal customers.

Ahead, find all of the dreamy 2024 wedding trends, along with some pieces to shop from Anthropologie along the way. Consider it your digital wedding planning catalog — the all-in-one hub for all things bridal.

Bow Stacking — Apparel

Naturally, bows are on the rise — as is the Viktor & Rolf for BHLDN Penelope Strapless Bow-Back A-Line Wedding Gown available to shop from Anthropologie right now. It surely makes a statement and is the divine feminine touch we’re all heart-eyes for.

For another sophisticated silhouette, the Wtoo by Watters Laurie Square-Neck Bow Satin Wedding Gown ($1,295) is sure to turn heads, largely in part for its statement big bow at the back and low-back design.

If you’re in the mood to add some bows to your engagement party or rehearsal dinner look, the Sachin & Babi Gwyneth Mini Bow Dress ($395) is simply *perfect* — the hidden gem in Anthropologie’s treasure trove that’s a winner in the photogenic department.

Bow Stacking — Accessories

Of course, bows aren’t subject exclusively to apparel. According to Anthropologie and Pinterest, bows are being topped onto the heels of shoes, the barrettes of hair accessories and more. You’ll even find some on jewelry and wedding veils, especially now.

Shop the Bella Belle Molly Pearl Bow Block Heels ($350) for the Pinterest-inspired (literally) pair of wedding day heels. Or, walk down the aisle with the Loeffler Randall Maria Veiled Bow Clip ($125) if you’re on the fence about wearing a veil altogether (side note: it’s the ideal size to add some accessorizing power to your look without the full cathedral feel).

More, what good is the bow trend for if not for adding to your jewelry collection? For this, we recommend the By Anthropologie Crystal Bow Earrings ($48) that can be worn while engaged and while married alike. They’re certainly on our wishlists. We also love the BHLDN Wavy Chiffon Bow ($18) for an affordable bow accent like no other.

Groovy Nuptials — Apparel

This year, weddings are about to get *groovy.* This retro-inspired trend is what you can imagine it to be: sheer sleeves, disco ball and the overarching dance-floor energy.

Fittingly, the Jenny by Jenny Yoo Olivia Long-Sleeve Off-The-Shoulder Scoop-Neck Fit & Flare Gown ($1,495) is an homage to this trend, complete with off-the-shoulder detailing and the most gorgeous sheer long sleeves we’ve ever seen.

If you’re all about the puffy sleeves, look no further than the Besa Ali Plunge-Neck Gown With Removable Sleeves ($1,750). While plenty ornate for some, it’s the definition of 70s-inspired, sophisticated elegance.

What else is on the rise? Reception dresses. Dress to impress your guests with the Audrey Adele Danielle Sequin Feather Dress ($498) that truly proves disco never dies. And, for something even more disco ball-esque, the BHLDN Taylor V-Neck Sequined Mini Dress ($450) is certainly one of the most fun one-pieces Anthropologie has to offer.

Groovy Nuptials — Accessories

Get your groove on all wedding long with some accessories from Anthropologie. Oh and yes, this is one of our favorite Anthropologie x Pinterest trends yet, as the styling power transcends far after you say “I do.”

Notably, the By Anthropologie The Frankie Clutch ($80) is the dashing diva in disguise, complete with a subtle retro look with mirrored accents. To take groovy to new heights, you’ll also want to scoop up the Eyeking Heart Sunglasses ($28) — perhaps for some affordable reception photo booth fun.

Of course, you’ll need shoes to match, and the Reformation Maize Platform Heeled Sandals ($278) are picture-perfect. Top it all off with the Serefina Classic Tennis Necklace ($155) to accentuate your décolleté and you have yourself a winning, show-stopping look.

Western Gothic — Apparel

It’s time to make weddings a bit more historically inspired — and that’s where the Western Gothic trend comes into play. When we say cathedral gowns, we also mean for the cathedral church-inspired look. In short, this is our Roman empire.

There’s nothing more eye-catching than the Watters Venus Satin & Lace Draped Wedding Gown ($2,270) — complete with unbelievably gorgeous draped satin detailing and a lace overlay. We’re also swooning over the Willowby by Watters Serene Long-Sleeve Lace Wedding Gown ($1,195), an ideal option for the lover of long sleeves.

Additionally, tap into the all-black look with the BHLDN Anna Strapless Sheer Lace Maxi Dress ($298) that’s effortlessly chic for your bachelorette. Oh, and the Willowby by Watters Nala Scoop-Neck Long-Sleeve Wedding Gown ($1,395) is a mod take on Western Gothic, if we do say so ourselves.

Western Gothic — Accessories

When incorporated into your wedding style, the Western Gothic trend can be entirely dreamy. It’s something out of a romance movie or classic film, no less.

We’re over-the-moon about the ARIS by Debra Moreland Cambrai Veil ($437) and consider it the splurge worth making in 2024. It’s picturesque, dynamite and compliment-worthy.

Additionally, we love the Serefina Natural Pearl Two-Tier Necklace ($135) for a Western-meets-Audrey Hepburn mood, along with the Badgley Mischka Blaze Satin Bow Stiletto Heels ($198) for some velvet flair, of which are available in both black and white.
