Patricia Heaton was born in 1958, in Bay Village, Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University, from which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in drama. Heaton continued her studies in New York, where she moved to soon after her graduation. Several years later, Heaton received an opportunity to appear in her first Broadway performance entitled “Don’t Get God Started”.
